About Us

Tweerivier is a family owned farm on the banks of the Limpopo River. The farm is situated about 4 hours drive from Johannesburg and Pretoria. 

This relatively unknown tourist destination makes for a special African bush experience. To the owners, Z and Noeline van der Walt and Ampie and Noeline Viljoen (nee van der Walt), this piece of African turf represents a legacy that they hold dearly. An eco tourism destination by extinction, guarantees an experience that you will cherish.

Our 500 hectare farm offers partly dry western bushveld terrain that is typical of southern Botswana. Located on the banks of the Limpopo river one can also experience the special riverine forest. Typical trees include giant Leadwoods, Ana trees, Camel thorns, Weeping Wattles, Boscias and many more. The bio-diversity of the farm is supported by the different veld types close to and away from the Limpopo river. The area is malaria-free and closely located to the world-renowned Madikwe, Marakele, and Pilansberg Game Reserves. Visits to the above will gladly be arranged by us.

The owners promote eco-tourism and hunting safaris. The camps on the farm are quite unique and promise to enthrall.
