Our Location

Tweerivier Game Lodge is based on private game property in Northern South Africa, in the wildlife paradise of the Limpopo province.

Only 4hrs drive north of Johannesburg and 80km west of Ellisras, this family owned and operated private lodge offers the perfect wildlife holiday destination for the outdoor enthusiast.

The area is malaria-free and closely located to the world-renowned Madikwe, Marakele, and Pilansberg Game Reserves.

The lodge serves as a ideal stop over en-route to Botswana, through the nearby Stockpoort border.

The farm is easily accessible on tar roads until 40 km north from Thabazimbi, from where the last 70 km is a well maintained gravel road.

A 4 x 4 vehicle is not compulsory, and a normal vehicle could easily travel the 80 km gravel road through adjacent game farms and breathtaking wildlife scenery.

Directions from Thabazimbi:

110Km North from Thabazimbi

Follow the road to Ellisras from Thabazimbi. Continue till road becomes a dirt road. (40km from Thabazimbi, 10km past Ellisras turn-off)

Continue for 10km on dirt road, at the fork keep right Continue for 70km to gate.

Caution road has a 90 degree to right, at 60 km from start of dirt road.

Continue on road which crosses the Matlabas river for 8,2km. Farm on left hand side and clearly marked on gate - TWEERIVIER

Directions from Ellisras:

Follow the road from Nylstroom to Vaalwater. Take the old road to Ellisras (Lephalale). Take road to Steenbokpan from Ellisras.

Follow road for +/-60km to Steenbokpan. In Steenbokpan take right to Stockpoort. Follow road for +/-10km, take Buffelsdrift turnoff to left.

Follow the road for +/- 20km. Farm on right hand side and clearly marked on gate - TWEERIVIER
